Run away with the Circus!

Citrus Pips is circus training for young people that leads to performance opportunities, chances to learn the hands-on skills of circus life, and the chance to work alongside Citrus Arts’ professional team in their award-winning outdoor spectacles.
We are also running Circus Play for youngest children, adult Aerial classes as well as Open Practice sessions where you can practise what you’ve learnt and spend time improving in a social atmosphere.

Booking & Fees
Pupils can still just turn up and pay on the day, as they have done so far.
We now also operate an online system for booking and payments. Should you prefer to use it, please follow the link above.

Wednesdays - Every Other Week

HOME EDUCATION

8+ | 1.30-3.30pm

Our new home education circus class is starting on the 12th February from 1.30 - 3.30pm.

This is a class for children aged 8 plus and who are not in a school-based education setting and it will take place every other week.

Classes are £2 per child.

Wednesdays
MINI PIPS CIRCUS PLAY

4-7y | 3:45-4:30pm

Circus Play is a fun activity class focussing on learning through play. Young children aged between 3-6 years can play games and learn various ground-based circus skills like juggling, tightwire, plate spinning, hula hooping and so on.

Engaging, physical and inclusive, the class is run by experienced tutors in a safe and friendly atmosphere of our newly refurbished Hopkinstown Hall.

YOUTH CIRCUS

CITRUS PIPS 8-11y | 4.45-5.45pm

CITRUS PIPS 12-16y | 6-7.30pm

For children aged 7-12 years , a natural progression for those who have attended Circus Play classes, or beginers of the apropriate age. No previous experience is necessary.

These fun and friendly classes are a mixture of basic acrobatics, aerial, and object manipulation skills such as juggling, hula hooping, plate spinning and so on.

Try something out of the ordinary and improve general fitness levels, boost confidence and have fun in the process.

£5 per person

Thursdays - NEW CLASS
ADULTS AERIAL

BEGINNERS | 5.45-7pm

INTERMEDIATE | 7.15-8.45pm

From improving upper body strength, to beginning your first routine, tutors are here to help even the newest, beginner aerialist to get in the air.

£10 per person

Mondays | 7-9pm

Wednesdays | 7:45-8:45pm
OPEN PRACTICE

Time to use our space to practise your skills alongside others. We have all the equipment you would expect for a small circus training space or you are free to bring your own.

Please note, these sessions are for practising and training, there will not be any tutors present and we ask you to stick to the skills you know.
