To celebrate the improvements underway at the Hetty Pit the volunteers and Citrus Arts invite you to explore this under loved local spot as a place to celebrate the wisdom and wonder in our community.

On Sunday June 16th from 1-5pm, join us for a free afternoon of Great Big Green Week Father’s Day fun including:

 

• Campfire song writing with the renowned The Honest Poet
• Bug collecting and nature drawing 
• Crafts
• Circus skills
• Picnic area
• Handsome pet parade (bring photos of non-portable pets!)
• Competitions, games and fun
• Guided tours of Engine House and surrounding site
• Plant swap - bring your leftover seedlings and plants
• Hang your birdhouse (see event Sat 15th June)

 


There is no room for car parking on site, please use nearby facilities at Barry Sidings and Hopkinstown Cricket Club.
Please only cross Rhondda Rd at designated pedestrian crossings.

 

Booking is preferred but not essential.
